1. Company Overview
EP Moving LLC provides residential and commercial moving services throughout California and across the U.S. By booking our services, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined herein.
2. Booking & Service Confirmation
- All moves must be scheduled in advance via our website, phone, or email.
- A confirmation email or SMS will be sent once your booking is secured.
- Service availability is based on our scheduling calendar and staffing.
3. Rates & Payments
- Pricing is based on the number of movers, trucks, and hours required.
- Our rates are hourly and may vary by day or season. Minimum charges may apply.
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, major credit cards, and other payment methods as listed on our site.
- A 3–5% processing fee may apply to credit card payments.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule your move free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled time.
- Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to a 3-hour minimum for the crew size booked.
- Excessive last-minute changes may result in rescheduling fees or refusal of future service.
5. Double Drive Time Policy (California Only)
In accordance with the California Public Utilities Commission (PUC), EP Moving LLC is required to charge Double Drive Time between your origin and destination addresses. This ensures transparency and standardized billing across the industry.
6. Packing & Damage Liability
- Our team will handle your belongings with care and professionalism.
- EP Moving LLC is not liable for damage to items that are not properly packed by our team or for pre-existing damage.
- You are encouraged to inspect items before and after the move.
- For claims, you must notify us in writing within 24 hours of your move.
7. Insurance
- EP Moving LLC includes Basic Valuation Coverage (standard liability) at no additional cost, as required by law.
- For full-value replacement coverage, we recommend obtaining third-party moving insurance (we can refer you if needed).
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure parking and access at both origin and destination locations.
- Disclose any special or oversized items (e.g., pianos, safes) in advance.
- Be present during the move or assign a responsible adult to oversee it.
- Secure personal valuables and sensitive items separately.
9. Website Use & Content
- All content on www.epmoving.com, including text, images, and logos, is the property of EP Moving LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.
- You may not reuse, copy, or distribute our content without written permission.
10. SMS Communications
- By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your services.
- Message frequency may vary. Standard carrier charges may apply.
- You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any message.
